Once upon a time there were four little rabbits, Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton-tail and Peter. They live with their mother under the root of a big tree.

Peter Rabbit will appeal to children. This is because rabbits depict cuteness, cosiness, and gentleness. In addition, Peter is a naughty rabbit, pretty much how most children behave.

Although he has stolen Mr. McGregor's vegetable, but your child would be rooting for him in his escape. Your child would see him as the small and vulnerable one here, especially when the opponent is a man many times bigger than Peter. Even the sparrows helped Peter out of a net.
