Q(1) When can I expect to receive my order? The normal delivery time (by courier) is between 2 to 10 working days (Malaysian), depending on your location. For titles that are out of stock, please check with us. Top

Q(2) What is your return policy? All sales are final and there will be no refund. However, if the book/s are defective or damaged, due to our fault or during shipment, we will exchange it with a new copy. You have to email us at info@1childrenbooks.com to inform us of the damage and get a Return Authorisation Number (RAN). Please retain the original packing material for this purpose. We will contact you on the details of the return of the damaged book. Top

Q(3) What is your target age group? Our books are suitable for children aged 0 to 10 (approximately). The target age group for each book is indicated on the product page itself. These are only rough guides for you. Very often for instance, we find that books meant for toddlers still intrigue older children, and even adults themselves. As parents, we know every child is different and does not develop and progress at the same pace. Our reviews are there to help you decide whether the books are appropriate for your children. Top

Q(4) How often are new titles introduced? The quality of our books must be maintained so that you can rely on us for your children's reading needs. Extensive research is done before a book is finally selected. New titles will be introduced approximately once every five weeks. Top

Q(5) What is the exchange rate used? USD1 = RM2.90 (w.e.f. 7th April, 2010) The exchange rate does not affect customers who are paying in Ringgit Malaysia (cheque and direct bank-in) as the RM price is constant. Top

Q(6) What is 'Shipping Weight'? Shipping Weight is the weight of the book add an approximate weight of packaging material. Top

Q(7) Which currency does the bookstore operate in? RM or USD? The bookstore operates in RM. The equivalent in USD is shown for customers who are paying by credit card (via PayPal). The total payable in USD (converted at the exchange rate in Q5 above) is shown in the email confirmation as well as on the page before you click 'Submit for Processing'. Top

Q(8) Do you have a showroom where the books are displayed? Our setup is entirely online based. Hence, we regret to inform that we are unable to accommodate requests for customers to browse the books at location. Top

Q(9) What is your privacy policy? We use the information submitted by you for the following purposes: To process your order so that the books and merchandise reach you as soon as possible. This includes providing your details to the delivery company. To keep you informed of new books and promotions, that may be held from time to time. To fulfill our accounting and taxation obligations. We DO NOT share, rent or sell your information to anyone. Credit card information supplied by you to the secured Paypal site is kept by Paypal and subjected to Paypal's privacy policy.
